It’s time for the latest Blue Water Area Athlete of the Week poll. Now we need your help to determine a winner.

Voting ends at noon on Thursday.

The most recent winner was St. Clair boys basketball’s Braylon Frantz, who surpassed 1,000 career points in the Saints’ 75-33 win over Marine City on Dec. 20, 2024. He finished the game with 19 points.

Listed below are this week’s candidates in alphabetical order. To vote, please use the poll at the bottom of this page. Fraudulent votes will be deleted.

Madison Bezenah — Port Huron girls basketball: Bezenah totaled 13 points and nine rebounds in the Red Hawks’ 52-43 victory over Port Huron Northern on Jan. 10.

Alexis Bruyere — Imlay City girls basketball: Bruyere scored a career-high 37 points in the Spartans’ 51-15 triumph over Almont on Jan. 9.

Grady Busen — Marysville boys swimming: Busen won each of his four events last week, including the 200-meter individual medley and the 100-meter breaststroke.

Steven Neiman — St. Clair wrestling: Neiman earned his 100th career victory during a dual at Holly on Jan. 11.

Case VanSingle — Port Huron Unified hockey: VanSingle recorded four goals and two assists in Unified’s 12-4 win over Riverview Cabrini on Jan. 6.
