Who could replace Jordyn Cambridge at point guard for Vanderbilt basketball?
Here’s who Shea Ralph said could replace Jordyn Cambridge at point guard for the 2024-25 Vanderbilt women’s basketball season.
Vanderbilt women’s basketball hasn’t played a high-major opponent yet, but it also hasn’t won any games by fewer than 13 points.
The Commodores (5-0) will face another mid-major opponent at Memorial Gymnasium on Friday with Samford (2-4). The Bulldogs have yet to win a game against a Division I opponent with losses to Tennessee, Memphis, Central Arkansas and Florida State. Their two wins are over NAIA Fisk and D2 Montevallo.
One familiar face will be playing for Samford. Emily Bowman spent her freshman year at Vanderbilt in 2020-21. The 6-foot-5 center transferred to the Bulldogs after that season when Shea Ralph replaced Stephanie White. This season, Bowman is averaging 13.2 points and 10.2 rebounds per game while shooting 50% from the field.
