Torn-up green on a Cape Cod golf course has ignited an investigation by police.
Dennis Pines and Highlands Golf Courses said the “major vandalism” occurred Tuesday night at hole number five and was likely due to ATV or dirt bike activity.
The area will be roped off so that it has time to recover and is deemed ready for play, the business said on Facebook.
