Tennessee football moved up two spots in the US LBM Coaches Poll and one spot in the AP Top 25 after a 33-14 win over Mississippi State in Week 11 of the 2024 season.
The Vols are now ranked No. 4 in the coaches poll and No. 6 in the AP poll.
Tennessee was ranked No. 7 in the first College Football Playoff poll last week, but it should move up there, too. The updated CFP poll will be released on Tuesday (8:30 p.m. ET, ESPN).
The top 10 of the polls are reshuffled because Georgia lost to Ole Miss and Miami lost to Georgia Tech.
Tennessee (8-1, 5-1 SEC) plays Georgia (7-2, 5-2) on Saturday (7:30 p.m. ET, ABC) at Sanford Stadium in Athens, Georgia.
Others receiving votes: Tulane, Louisiana, Arizona State, Pittsburgh, UNLV, Memphis, Navy, James Madison, Illinois, Duke.
