Doha, Qatar: ExxonMobil Qatar has announced the launch of its Public Village stand (pictured) activities for the Qatar ExxonMobil Open 2025, now elevated to ATP500 status. This upgrade signifies a remarkable milestone for the tournament, highlighting its growth and prominence in the global tennis scene.
As title sponsor of the tournament since 1995, ExxonMobil has consistently transformed its stand into a premier attraction, drawing thousands of fans to join in an array of engaging and entertaining experiences.
At the heart of ExxonMobil Qatar’s stand this year lies the exhilarating racing car simulator, designed to deliver the ultimate thrill for fans. The simulator has been a hit for the past few years, offering visitors an immersive and dynamic experience that replicates the sensation of driving a real racing car. With its sleek design, responsive steering, and advanced motion technology, players will feel every twist and turn as they navigate iconic circuits.
Equipped with a realistic steering wheel, pedals, and a state-of-the-art display, the simulator offers an authentic racing experience. It creates a fun and competitive atmosphere, allowing participants to challenge each other, beat lap times, and race against the clock for a chance to secure the top spot on the leaderboard. Even tennis players stop by the stand to test their skills on the simulator and try to beat each other’s scores – proving they’re competitive both on and off the court. Fans will have the chance to see them in action and leave the stand with a signed ball or even a photo with their favourite players if they happen to be there at the same time.
Another exciting highlight is the popular “ExxonMobil Minute,” a tournament favourite. After each match, the winning player will randomly serve tennis balls into the crowd, giving lucky spectators a chance to catch one and claim fantastic prizes at the ExxonMobil Qatar stand.
The Public Village is a dynamic mix of music, entertainment, performances, food, and a traditional Souq. Visitors can enjoy authentic Qatari food and other options, and experience special activities available to all.
“We’re thrilled to invite fans to our stand at the Qatar ExxonMobil Open 2025, where excitement and enjoyment come together in a vibrant atmosphere. Our stand is a welcoming and fun space where tournament-goers can connect not just with their favourite tennis players but also with our ExxonMobil Qatar team,” said Rashid Al Hajri, Vice President and Manager of Public and Government Affairs for ExxonMobil Qatar.
“The ExxonMobil Qatar stand serves as a unique platform to promote and foster an appreciation for tennis,” said Tareq Zainal, General Secretary of Qatar Tennis Federation.
“It offers visitors the chance to engage in innovative and enjoyable activities that promote awareness of tennis and encourage community members, particularly children, to get involved in the sport. It also serves as an inspiring platform, providing an opportunity to meet some of the world’s top tennis players in person,” he added.
“We’re committed to providing fans with an exceptional experience throughout the tournament in collaboration with our partners. The ExxonMobil Qatar stand is a unique meeting point for players and fans, offering opportunities to engage with interactive educational and entertainment activities,” said Karim Alami, Tournament Director.
“The stand plays an important role in encouraging people of all ages to take up tennis. It also encourages them to engage with the players, strengthening their connection to the sport and creating a lasting positive impact,” he added. The Qatar ExxonMobil Open 2025 will run from February 17-22, 2025.
