Matt Rhule and the Nebraska Cornhuskers continue to look to their roster for the 2025 season and beyond. Their latest target comes from a fellow Big Ten program in UCLA Bruins defensive back transfer Jaylin Davies.
After three seasons in Westwood with the Bruins, the senior corner entered the transfer portal in mid-December. He also spent time with the Oregon Ducks in his collegiate career.
With UCLA, Daivies proved to be a productive corner with 105 career tackles in 38 games. He also had four interceptions and 11 pass deflections.
While the Huskers’ offense is expected to take a step forward in 2025, their defense is facing a potential rebuild, with numerous key contributors leaving the program this offseason, mostly due to eligibility. Though the Huskers have seen a handful of portal departures as well.
