CINCINNATI (WXIX) – Two men were shot during a fight after a pee wee football game at Walnut Hills High School Sunday night, Cincinnati Police say.
Cincinnati Police Lt. Chantia Miller says there was some sort of confrontation around 7:30 p.m. and shots were fired.
Lt. Miller says they have a possible suspect but that person is not in custody.
The shooting victims were taken to UC Medical Center. One is in serious condition and the second victim’s injuries are non-life-threatening.
CPS spokesperson Kathryn Robinson confirms the game was a facility rental and had nothing to do with Walnut Hills or CPS in any way.
Lt. Miller says a lot of kids witnessed the shooting and she says not to condemn the league.
She says it‘s about people who didn’t know how to control themselves.
