I have confirmations from the Kentucky Racing Commission on a pair of horses previously reported as “vanned off”:
Constituent, says the Commission, “suffered a catastrophic injury to her left foreleg” at Keeneland Oct 25, “and was humanely euthanized.” She was three years old, and this was her second ever race. Complicit in the kill: John Davison, Lindsay Schultz, Fernando Jara, and all those who support the U.S. horseracing industry.
At Churchill Oct 31, it was La Bukana – “suffered a catastrophic injury [right foreleg], humanely euthanized.” She was two, and this was her fourth race. The complicit: WinStar Farm, Juan Cano, Francisco Arrieta, and…you know the rest.
