CULLMAN, Ala. – Turn & Burn Bungee & Dance Fitness hosted an open house Dec. 28, featuring bungee fitness class demonstrations, the opportunity to shop its new fitness apparel line and the opening of its beverage bar, “Warehouse Nutrition.” The new facility is located in the downtown Cullman Warehouse District at 110 First Ave. NE.
Owner Rhonda Hagemore welcomed guests to the open house and introduced the instructors. Hagemore, with a background in health care, said she has studied bungee fitness for several years prior to opening the business.
“Bungee fitness offers a variety of benefits, making it an exciting and effective workout for people of all fitness levels,” she said.
An informational packet offered to guests listed some of the advantages of bungee fitness, including low impact on joints, full body engagement, improved balance and coordination and confidence building.
Turn & Burn instructors performed a demonstration led by Bailey Grey, giving guests insight as to what they could expect in a class and the proper way to set up the bungees to ensure a safe and fun experience.
All bungee fitness participants must complete a demo class prior to participating in a full bungee fitness class. Demo classes will be available beginning Jan. 2. Single-class prices start at $20 per visit or packages are available for those interested in making bungee fitness a part of their weekly regimens.
The current way to schedule classes with Turn & Burn is through the Mindbody App. Turn & Burn Fitness expects to have its own app on the Google Play and Apple Store at the beginning of the new year. Turn & Burn dance fitness and barre classes are projected to be available early in 2025 as well.
Said Hagemore, “We are super excited to bring this to Cullman. It is something that is not offered anywhere near us, and I just want everybody to be able to come out and enjoy themselves.”
