WASHINGTON (TNND) — President-elect Donald Trump apparently sported a new hairstyle earlier this week, with a video of his famous golden locks circulating on social media.
The footage, which was shared by Trump supporter Michael Solakiewicz, shows Trump at his golf club in Palm Beach.
Trump is seen walking through the lobby, wearing a white Polo shirt, Navy slacks, and his new do. He holds a red MAGA hat in one hand, with his hair slicked back and a slight poof at the top.
He greets a crowd of cheering people, asking if everyone is having a good time.
“Is everybody a Republican?” he also asks, with the crowd cheering again in agreement.
They didn’t seem to comment about his hair, but plenty of people on social media shared their thoughts about it. Several criticized the style, with some saying it wasn’t flattering.
“What did they do to his hair?” one person wrote.
“Now he really looks like a fat old (expletive),” another added.
“He is trying to look like his buddy Kim Jong Un.”
Others praised Trump’s do.
“I Like it! Trump is always willing to try new things!” another wrote.
One offered a reason as to why Trump’s hair appeared different.
“People, he just played a round of golf with a hat on. Hats do that to hair. Not a new look. Guaranteed,” the commenter noted.
“The ultimate hat hair,” another person agreed.
“I love it…,” a third person said.
Trump’s hair, including whether it’s real or not, has been debated for years. Eight years ago, when Trump appeared on “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon,” where Fallon asked if he could mess up Trump’s hair.
At first, Trump cringes, but goes on to allow it, seeming to debunked rumors that he wears a wig or toupee.
“The answer is yes,” Trump says, noting that he planned to attend an event in New Hampshire after the visit with Fallon.
Fallon goes on to tossle Trump’s hair, with Trump grinning through a grimace and immediately fixing his hair after Fallon tousled it.
Trump, 78, is set to be inaugurated at the 47th President of the United States on Jan. 20, 2025.
