Unseen footage of Travis Kelce celebrating a potential touchdown pass a little too prematurely has emerged from the Chiefs’ win at the Falcons on Sunday.
Kansas City continued their perfect start to the season over in Atlanta, where they claimed a 22-17 win to go 3-0 in the defense of their second straight Super Bowl crown.
Despite the victory, it proved another disappointing night for Kelce on an individual note as he failed to make an impact on proceedings, recording just four catches for 30 yards.
And amid question marks over his future in the NFL, the 34-year-old has been mocked by fans over footage which has surfaced from Sunday’s game.
The clip first shows Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes attempting to find tight end Noah Gray in the end zone with a 23-yard pass, before Kelce throws one arm in the air in celebration after he throws the ball.

Yet much to his embarrassment, he then turns around to discover Mahomes has been picked off by a Falcons defender.
‘Kelce celebrating when Mahomes throws it, only for it to then get picked, is killing me,’ one user wrote alongside the video on X.
Another joked: ‘“Wait, that wasn’t in the script..”’
A third commented: ‘Lol, he tried to pull a [Steph] Curry.’
While one simply put: ‘Dude is such a tool it’s unbearable.’
Others, meanwhile, took aim at Mahomes for his unsuccessful pass and argued that Kelce’s premature celebration was justified.
One said: ‘I mean this is an AWFUL throw. I can see why Mr. Swift thought this was a forgone conclusion’.
While another posted: ‘Kinda shows you how bad Mahomes has been, relative to what he’s done historically. That’s an easy pitch and catch for them.’

Kelce is enduring a miserable start to the season on an individual note after averaging a career-worst 23 yards per game
Kelce is averaging a career-worst 23 yards per game through three contests and looked rather miserable on the sideline during his team’s win over the Falcons on Sunday night. Some fans have even called for him to ‘retire.’
Former ESPN football analyst Todd McShay also took aim at the NFL icon for ‘partying all offseason’ with girlfriend Taylor Swift.
However, his teammate George Karlaftis has told TMZ that the tight end ‘hasn’t skipped a beat.’
‘He’s a guy that loves football, he’s going to come and work his tail off every single day no matter what and teams have to respect him,’ Karlaftis said. ‘He’s the greatest tight end to ever play, you could argue, certainly I think so.
‘You gotta account for him, he’s going to face double and triple teams, that opens up guys like Rashee [Rice], our running game, and stuff like that,’ he continued. ‘So he’s a guy that commands a lot of respect.’
