MEMPHIS, Tenn. (BVM) – One of the most interesting storylines of each NBA season is how well the year’s rookie class will perform and that will again be the case in 2024-25.
The 2024 NBA Draft class was deemed to be relatively weak compared to the past couple of years but some highly-talented players are still entering the league this season, including No. 1 overall pick Zaccharie Risacher, back-to-back college basketball national player of the year Zach Edey and several other talented scorers.
Even with the lack of hype surrounding this rookie class, several players have a chance to break out in their first season in the NBA and earn some hardware in the process. Here are the top five candidates to win the 2024-25 NBA Rookie of the Year award.
