The Big 3 of men’s tennis, Roger Federer , Novak Djokovic , and Rafael Nadal dominated the sport for most of the 2000s. No male player had won more than 14 Grand Slams until they all broke the record and embarked on new journeys to win 20, 24 and 22 Majors, respectively. The only member of the Big 3 that’s going to feature in 2025 will be Djokovic.
However, they have quite left the stage for youngsters like Carlos Alcaraz to flourish. Alcaraz recently became the youngest player in 32 years to win the US Open, and also became the youngest ever year-end World No.1 in the ATP rankings, just aged 19 years and four months (back in 2022).
