Today’s Connections: Sports Edition plays a fun trick on players. There are so many food terms, from hotdog to peppers to Cracker Jack to nutmeg, and yet not all of them represent food terms. Someone on the NYT puzzle staff must have a long list of food words with other meanings that they toss in whenever they can.
