Titans’ Will Levis is ‘most exciting quarterback’ in the NFL, Jason Kelce says

ESPN analyst (and future Pro Football Hall of Famer) Jason Kelce is weeks into his post-football television career, but his hot-take ability is already in good form.

Kelce said during ESPN’s Monday Night Countdown pregame show ahead of Monday’s Titans-Dolphins game that Will Levis is the “most exciting quarterback to watch in football.”

“I have no idea what’s going to happen anytime he has the ball,” Kelce said, half-jokingly, on Monday. “It’s either going to be the most insane throw I’ve ever seen… “

“….or the most insane throw I’ve ever seen,” Kelce and fellow analyst Ryan Clark said in unison talking about Levis’ hit-or-miss nature.

Levis comes into Monday’s game against the Dolphins with eight turnovers in three games, including at least an interception and a lost fumble each in those games. All three games have been Titans losses in a 0-3 start.

Kelce also made a point about the Titans offensive line, calling the group “not great” but identifying offensive line coach Bill Callahan as a reason for optimism.

As for Clark and Marcus Spears, the third former player on ESPN’s pregame show, both think the Titans should consider a possible change at quarterback should the major errors continue from the second-year current QB1 given the offensive weapons on the roster.

“This is all about your quarterback,” Spears said. “It starts and stops there. So to your point (Clark), if Mason Rudolph gives you the best chance this week, you need to play Mason Rudolph. Because a lot of times, we can look at young quarterbacks and say well, that is a bad situation you’re in. And we have to give them time to see when they put some talent around him (and see) if they can make plays.”

“Will Levis has no excuse for playing the way he’s playing right now.”
