NFL/NCAA Football (0.75 Unit) 2-Team 6 Point Teaser (-110; Odds via Caesars)
Tampa Bay Buccaneers/Atlanta Falcons Under 50: 7:15 PM CT on Prime Video
These are two teams who are already a combined 6-2 to the under this season, so being able to move this total up through several key numbers makes me feel pretty comfortable. Thursday night games have been continuing their tendency to stay low-scoring, going 3-0 this season as teams try to get them over with. Since there are already several injury concerns on both teams, I think they take that limited approach tonight. Neither run defense is particularly good, especially Tampa’s which is 29th in EPA/play, so a vanilla and run-heavy game will keep this under the adjusted total.
Sam Houston State -4 @ UTEP: 8:00 PM CT on CBSSN
UTEP is in the conversation for worst FBS team this year, and a Sam Houston squad that is roaring up the power rating ranks should have no trouble with them tonight. The Miners have lost by double digits to all three of their FBS opponents, and even lost at home to FCS Southern Utah, so this is truly a bad team. I just don’t see how they have any answer for excellent dual-threat quarterback Hunter Watson and the Bearkats offense, that showed how explosive it is in a big comeback on Saturday. But it’s possible that took a little out of Sam Houston, so I’m only going to ask them to win by a possession in this road contest.
