The NA Inline Tigers fell to the Butler Golden Tornados by a score of 6-4 at the RMU Island Sports Center on a chilly Sunday morning.
In the first period, the Tigers opened the scoring with a power play goal by sophomore Christian Mark assisted by senior Steven Cameron. S. Cameron scored an unassisted power play goal as well to give the Tigers a 2-0 lead and close out the frame.
In the second period it was all Butler as the Tornado offense came alive scoring four goals while holding the Tigers completely at bay ending the period with a 4-2 Tornado lead.
The Tigers battled in the third period notching two additional goals, one from S. Cameron assisted by Mark and a goal by freshman Adam Cameron assisted by junior Matthew Noffsinger, but the Tornado managed two goals as well to close the game with a 6-4 Tiger defeat.
Junior goalie Claudia Kushon suffers the loss as the Tigers record falls to 9-6. The Tigers resume play next Sunday at 4:00 pm against the Upper St. Clair Panthers at the RMU Island Sports Center.
