It’s an NFC West showdown as the San Francisco 49ers host the Los Angeles Rams on Thursday Night Football.
The NFC West is wide open. The first-place Seahawks (8-5) have won four in a row, the Rams (7-6) are on a two-game winning streak, and the 49ers snapped their three-game losing streak with a Week 14 victory over the Chicago Bears (6-7). The only NFC West squad not on a winning streak, the Arizona Cardinals, are also 6-7.
The Rams are on the playoff bubble, with NFL.com reporting they have a 30% chance to make the playoffs. The 49ers aren’t out of it, but the website only gives them an 8% probability of playing postseason football.
