MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Three West Virginia University golfers are in the Top 11 after two rounds at the White Sands Collegiate in Paradise Island, Bahamas.
Senior Max Green and junior Kaleb Wilson both shot 1-under-par on Saturday, while junior Westy McCabe posted one of the lowest rounds of the day with a 5-under-par score. Green sits in 10th place at -6, while Wilson and McCabe are tied for 11th at -5.
Senior Todd Duncan shot 2-under-par on Saturday to move under par after 36 holes at -1, tied for 26th place. Freshman Ryan Leach shot Even par to remain at -1, also tied for 26th place. Senior Pierce Grieve was +2 on Saturday, while freshman Nick Turowski was +11. McCabe and Leach are competing as individuals.
West Virginia was -2 for the round and remains in sixth place at -8 for the tournament. The final round will begin with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. on Sunday.
