Scotty Cameron
On Friday morning, Scotty Cameron unveiled the 2024 Catalina ‘My Girl’ limited-edition putter to pay homage to Cameron’s favorite beach town in California.
The putterhead and headcover feature vibrant illustrations of umbrellas, seagulls and the California sun to capture the coastal spirit. The words “Hello Sunshine” are inscribed on the heel of the putter face, a personal touch from Cameron that’s a small but significant tribute to his daughters.
“A lot of times, I call my girls, ‘Sunshine,’” he said in a recent video.
Another meaningful detail that Cameron included on this special edition of his Catalina putter is changing the classic cherry bombs to a sea blue bubble color. The inspiration for the change? Sea glass.
“We would spend a lot of time in Laguna Beach, and our favorite thing as a family is to collect beach glass,” Cameron said.
Like Cameron’s other variations of the Catalina blade putter, the My Girl has a milled face with the signature player-preferred face texture that provides a tour-inspired feel. And the single mid-bend shaft is precision milled from solid 303 stainless steel with a shaft-over-spud design that offers near-face balanced performance with less toe hang.
This shaft setup gives players a clear view of the top line as well as the unique alignment design and sight dot. The path to alignment features a colorful depiction of seagulls while the sight dot is represented by a setting sun design, both of which are functional yet creative nods to Cameron’s love of the beach.
Every My Girl putter is outfitted with a textured Pistolini Plus grip that adds player-preferred game-ability and sits just above a gold wave-inspired shaft ring that compliments the coastal theme of this putter.
Now, the bad news? This limited-edition drop sold out on Fairway Jockey in minutes (although there’s still a limited number available in select Titleist golf shops). But here’s the good news: You can get ahead of the game — like those who snagged this putter on Friday did — and sign up for Fairway Jockey’s daily limited drops here.
It’s a good time to subscribe, too, especially with Black Friday deals approaching. Fairway Jockey will release limited-edition putter drops every day during Black Friday and Cyber Monday (beginning Nov. 26) available via email and text. It’s first come, first serve, so you’ll need to act fast — like today’s My Girl putter-buyers did.
