Singapore, 14/January/2025: Hotelogix, a globally leading cloud-based hospitality technology provider, said The Curve Hotel with 602 apartments in Qatar has migrated to its enterprise-grade Hotel Property Management (Hotel PMS) to gain efficient control over business processes to drive growth while lowering overall IT related costs.
Inspired by the elegant curve of Doha’s renowned Corniche, The Curve Hotel embodies a design that captures the city’s essence with its panoramic views. With a contemporary interior, it offers guests a cozy and pleasant environment. It runs 602 well-appointed apartments, including studios, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom suites, all equipped to meet top global quality standards. It enjoys excellent ranking and guest feedback on online platforms.
According to Mohamed Chebil, General Manager at The Curve Hotel, they used an on-premises solution to run their property. But lately, it didn’t help them keep up with today’s competitive business environment where they needed to gain much-needed control over their business. It also didn’t allow them to deploy modern technology that can help cater to the changing service level expectations of today’s travelers, from booking to in-house stay experience, while lowering the costs of their operations.
“With a 602-apartment property, our operational needs are very elaborate, and we needed to switch over to a Cloud PMS that can manage our wide array of operations. Hence, we were looking for an enterprise-grade solution to migrate to the cloud. Also, we needed the solution integrated with SITA to help us share guest data with Qatar Tourism in real-time,” Chebil added. “We found our match with Hotelogix that not only met our operational requirements but also had a clear understanding of how to migrate us to the cloud smoothly, and we went live within 3 weeks.”
The team Hotelogix took about three weeks to onboard The Curve Hotel on its solution, along with data migration from the old on-premises solution and training. It has also offered the Doha-based property a Mobile Hotel PMS App, enabling them to access hotel data and other KPIs on the go.
“We are seeing more and more large hotels switching to cloud-based operations, a significant shift in the last couple of years. We take pride in driving this shift in the industry, where large operations can be assured of smooth transitions, thereby reaping the benefits of moving to the cloud,” said Sivaprasad Gangadharan, Chief Sales Officer at Hotelogix. “We welcome The Curve Hotel to our growing client base in Qatar.”
