The first 12 hours of this deal event are open to Walmart+ members only, but at 12 p.m. ET today, the sale opens to everyone. If you do want to join Walmart+, it’s $98 for the year, and comes with perks like free grocery delivery, free shipping with no order minimum, Parmount+ streaming, and more. Walmart’s October holiday deal event begins on Oct. 8 at 12 a.m. ET for Walmart+ members and Oct. 8 at 12 p.m. ET for everyone. The deals event ends six days later, on Oct. 13. The event’s date was likely strategically planned to happen at the same time as Amazon Prime Day.
Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days, popularly known as October Prime Day, is a two-day sales event for Prime members. This year, sales are live from Tuesday, Oct. 8, through Wednesday, Oct. 9.
