TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) – Those looking to get ahead on their holiday shopping were presented with unique opportunities on Saturday.
The annual “Made from the Heart” holiday craft fest, presented by The Sunrise Optimist Club of North Topeka, kicked off Saturday morning with 28 vendors showcasing their hand-crafted work.
Chair of the craft fair, Charles Galligher said this is a perfect event to support local businesses while getting the ideal, original gift for your friends and family.
“We’ve been hosting this since 2011 and the ability for crafters to show their hard work, and very unique items it seems like too,” said Galligher. “Everything from woodworking to candle making, to a lot of fabric and jewelry – we’re really proud of that.“
The event lasts until 4 p.m.
