Imagine working from home, with your favourite coffee in hand, a nice pyjama, and earning a six-figure salary… right from your first job! It sounds unbelievable, but it’s a reality for those who know where to look.
In a job market that values digital skills and creativity, some jobs are breaking all the schemes, offering recent graduates the chance to earn large sums without even leaving home. Intrigued? If you are thinking of looking for a new job for 2025 because the one you have now is not providing you enough, perhaps it would be a good idea to stay and read these tips that we are going to give you.
Over the past 30 years, college tuition has been steadily increasing, and many students have gone into debt by taking out loans to finish their studies.
According to Forbes magazine, college tuition in recent years has increased from $4,160 to $10,740, and at private colleges, the increase has been even more astonishing, from $19,360 to $38,070!!! As we can see, inflation has also taken its toll on the college sector, and as costs have increased, so has the need to resort to student loans and other forms of financial aid.
Unfortunately, the study shows that those students who are in their last year are much more likely to get into college debt, and the figures usually rise to 100,000 dollars or more! A sad reality and a vicious circle in which many students are caught and that never improves, it always gets worse.
It’s complicated, but we should consider earning as much money as we can in the first years of college to get off to a good start and not feel like student loan payments are slowly taking away our lives, but rather that we can meet the cost of college without needing extra help.
Are you about to graduate in 2025 and don’t know what to do now? Well, here are three jobs that don’t require experience and that you could investigate to get out of those debts that haunt you.
1. Remote Software Engineer or Developer.
By now we know that software engineering and software development are the highest-paying careers in the world, even when you start at a very basic level. From the moment you set foot outside of college, you could be earning up to $87,000, and if you continue to acquire more technical skills and experience, you could be earning six figures a year. Don’t say we didn’t warn you!
Almost as a rule, software engineers and developers need degrees in computer science or mathematics, but today, many people manage to get started in this field by attending bootcamps, participating in online courses and participating in learning communities, or even through their own means of independent study, quite an achievement for those of us who see numbers and implode.
Hold on tight because, for this type of jobs, the average annual salary (with experience) is $114,013 to $135,979!!! And the average salary after college would go up to $128,000. You’re not going to complain, are you?!
2. Remote Product Manager.
Project management (product, project, and program management) are very similar to each other, although there are differences between them, of course. Product managers usually make more money in the technology sector, or in the finance/fintech and healthcare sectors, and they manage development teams and test the products in development.
The most common degrees for this career include Business Administration and Marketing, although it is not entirely necessary because you could start this career with a professional training in product management certification.
The salary for these positions is not bad either, and that is, the salary range is estimated between $110,125 to $138,220, and right after graduation you could be earning up to $116,958!!
3. Digital Marketing Manager (remote) or Marketing Analyst
It’s the last one in the ranking, but that doesn’t mean you’re going to be paid too little. Digital marketing is an industry that is very well paid, especially when you start your career, and it can be very rewarding to see the positive impact of your marketing campaigns. So, if you have a degree similar to any of these: Business Administration, Marketing, Advertising, Communications or Psychology, they could open the doors to this world for you, since everything is closely related to success in digital marketing.
The average salary for this type of job won’t leave you indifferent, and you could be earning between $108,389 and $141,892!!! And as soon as you graduate, your bank account could be increasing by $132,448. You can’t tell us that it catches your attention!
The first job you get hired for is going to be one of the most important decisions of your life, even if you don’t have a related degree, don’t worry and try your luck, maybe you’ll win and we’ll be talking to the next king of marketing and digital software!
