The Denver Nuggets have won eight games in a row and two straight at the expense of the Portland Trailblazers. Despite a 146-117 win in the first matchup, the Denver guard carried chip on his shoulder in game two after he was ejected early in the fourth quarter after receiving a second technical foul after sinking a tough layup. He responded by notching a career-best 55 points to go with five assists and four rebounds to lead the Nuggets to a 36-19 record. 

“It’s all competitive spirit,” Murray said after the game. I came ready to play. Especially just being used to the playoffs and playing the same team over and over and they know your plays and things get chippy and you have to see them again. So, I think just that kind of factor made me ready to go.

Which brings us to today’s quiz. Since missing the 2021-22 season with a torn ACL, Murray is on pace to average 20 points-per-game for the third consecutive year.
