Nick Kyrgios and Thanasi Kokkinakis will undoubtedly give fans plenty to cheer about as they reunite at the Australian Open.
Kyrgios is managing his wrist ahead of the Australian Open, which gets underway in Melbourne on Sunday.
Home favourite Kyrgios will play singles and doubles at the Grand Slam, linking up with Kokkinakis in the latter.
The former has just returned to the ATP Tour following a lengthy spell out injured, having undergone wrist surgery in 2023.
Kyrgios played doubles with Novak Djokovic at the Brisbane International earlier this month, suffering a second round exit after his first round singles exit.
The 2022 Wimbledon finalist now turns his focus to the first Grand Slam of the 2025 season, although his calendar is slowly but surely starting to fill up despite his injury record.
Kyrgios will play at UTS Guadalajara in February, with his doubles partner Kokkinakis also confirmed for the tournament.
And the former has now sent a message to the latter ahead of the event in Mexico, saying on the UTS Tour Instagram account: “Nick, waiting for you, waiting to play again.

“We’re going to share the doubles court, but on the other side of the net at UTS would be fun. There’ll be some antics and a bit of s**t talking, so I can’t wait to have you out here.
“I think the format might suit him a little more, because he likes to talk rubbish naturally. I do as well but I keep it in a little bit more, but I might have to bring it out and throw some cheap shots and see what I can do.”
Kyrgios and Kokkinakis clearly have great chemistry, which came to the fore when they won the top prize at the 2022 Australian Open.
The Australians combined their huge talents on the court to emerge victorious in the men’s doubles event.

In an all-Australian final, the charismatic pairing edged out compatriots Matthew Ebden and Max Purcell 7-5, 6-4 for a first Grand Slam title for both.
The Australian Open fans were treated to a real show from all four competitors, although the showmanship of the winning duo did take centre stage.
Kyrgios similarly put on a show alongside Djokovic in Brisbane, but it remains to be seen if he can do the same on the biggest stage later this month.
