After Tiger Woods’ debut earlier this week, one of TGL’s biggest names is set to tee it up for the first time on Tuesday at the SoFi Center. Justin Thomas and his Atlanta Drive Golf Club will battle the New York Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida, on Jan. 21 at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN and ESPN+.
NYGC was part of TGL’s first-ever match and took a beating courtesy of The Bay Golf Club, 9-2.
While Matt Fitzpatrick and Rickie Fowler return to the starting lineup for New York, Cameron Young will replace Xander Schauffele. As for the ATL squad, Thomas will be joined by Billy Horschel and Patrick Cantlay (the team’s fourth member is Lucas Glover).
Thomas, Horschel, Cantlay, Fowler and Young will all head to TGL 3 from La Quinta, California, where they’re competing this week in the American Express through at least Saturday as the event has a 54-hole cut.
Next week is the match everyone has circled on the calendar. Tiger and the Jupiter Links Golf Club will take on Rory McIlroy and the Boston Common Golf. We won’t know the official lineups until next week.
