Texas women’s basketball conference schedule
On Sunday afternoon, the Texas women’s basketball team will participate in a ranked rematch.
Ahead of Super Bowl LIX’s kickoff, No. 6 Texas (23-2, 9-1) will host No. 2 South Carolina (22-1, 10-0) in a marquee matchup at Moody Center. This game is being played exactly four weeks after South Carolina recorded a 67-50 win over UT in Columbia, S.C.
Texas is 12-0 at home this season with three of those wins coming against ranked Alabama, Tennessee and Vanderbilt teams. Dating back to last season, UT has won 19 straight games in its gym.

South Carolina, though, has a notable streak of its own. The Gamecocks have won 48 consecutive games against SEC opponents. Kentucky was the last SEC team to beat South Carolina, and the Gamecocks have won two NCAA championships since that loss to the Wildcats in the 2022 SEC title game.

Texas has announced that Sunday’s game will be a sellout. This marks the third time that Texas has sold out the 10,763-seat Moody Center since the team moved into the venue ahead of the 2022-23 season:
Texas entered this weekend averaging 6,877 fans per home game, which ranked 11th nationally. South Carolina averages a nation-leading 16,916 fans per game, and it drew a crowd of 18,000 for last month’s win over Texas.
