The Texas Tech basketball team will try to score a rare season sweep of Houston when the Red Raiders host the Cougars tonight inside United Supermarkets Arena.

The Red Raiders (21-6, 12-4) defeated the Cougars (23-4, 15-1) 82-81 in overtime in the previous meeting earlier this month in a game that went to overtime. It also featured the ejections of Texas Tech head coach Grant McCasland and JT Toppin, the Red Raiders’ leading scorer and rebounder.

Houston can clinch at least a share of the Big 12 Conference title with a win while the Red Raiders will try to be just the second team in the last eight seasons to take two regular season games from the Cougars.
