Tennessee-Vanderbilt basketball game injury report
No. 4 Tennessee (20-5, 7-5 SEC) will return to action on Saturday in Southeastern Conference play. Rankings reflect the USA TODAY Sports Men’s Basketball Coaches Poll.
The Vols will host Vanderbilt (17-7, 5-6 SEC) at Food City Center. Tipoff for the in-state matchup is slated for 1 p.m. EST and will be televised by SEC Network. Dave Neal (play-by-play) and Pat Bradley (analyst) will be on the call.
Saturday will mark the second contest between the Vols and Commodores this season. Vanderbilt defeated Tennessee, 76-75, on Jan. 18 in Nashville, Tennessee.
Tennessee leads the all time men’s basketball series, 131-77, against Vanderbilt, dating to 1922.
Beginning with the 2024-25 athletics calendar, Southeastern Conference schools will provide public reports on availability of student-athletes to participate in each conference game in football, men’s basketball, women’s basketball and baseball.
Tennessee sophomore forward J.P. Estrella is listed as out. Estrella will miss the remainder of the season due to a foot injury. Senior forward Igor Milicic Jr. is also listed as probable for the Vols against Vanderbilt.
Graduate student guard Alex Hemenway is out for Vanderbilt on Saturday.
