Tennessee offered a scholarship to 2026 power forward prospect Trey Thompson.
“After a great conversation with Rod Clark, I am honored to announce I have received an offer from the University of Tennessee,” Thompson said.
The 6-foot-8, 220-pound power forward prospect is from Greeneville High School in Greeneville, Tennessee.
Thompson ranks as the No. 45 power forward and No. 5 prospect in Tennessee, according to ESPN.
The Vols are the only Southeastern Conference school to offer Thompson a scholarship.
He has scholarship offers from Tennessee, Purdue, Xavier, Appalachian State, Ohio and East Tennessee State.
Appalachian State first offered a scholarship to Thompson on July 29.
