The last match at the venue was played between Australia and Pakistan in January 2024 where Australia won the match by 8 wickets with Pat Cummins getting 6 and Josh Hazlewood getting 5 wickets in the match.

Australia got bowled out for 42 against England in the only Test of 1888 England-Australia match where George Lohmann and Bobby Peel took five each at the SCG.
