Super Bowl weekend is typically a big day for sports betting and as Super Bowl LIX approaches, the Michigan Gaming Control Board is urging gamblers to practice responsible betting.
“Each year, the Super Bowl unites millions of fans, football lovers, and bettors around the world,” MGCB Executive Director Henry Williams said in a news release. “As we come together to watch the game, let’s remember the importance of responsible betting to guarantee a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.”

Estimates say Super Bowl betting revenue could surpass $100 million for sports books, setting a new record with more than $1.5 billion in wagers.
