Book’em Danno fired a bullet Sunday morning as he prepares for his next start in the Grade 2 Cigar Mile.

The 6-year-old gelding breezed five furlongs in 1:00.21 Sunday morning at Belmont Park, fastest of 22 at the distance.

Trainer Derek Ryan told Horse Racing Nation last week that after the Cigar Mile, Book’em Danno likely will be pointed to either the Saudi Cup (G1) or the Riyadh Dirt Mile (G2). Read more here.
