The Johns Hopkins Summer Jobs Program is returning for its 31st year.
The program offers paid internships for local students ages 16 to 21 and provides them with valuable work experience in departments across Johns Hopkins University and Medicine. Any department can sign up to host a Summer Jobs intern at no cost in its budget. Interns can assist with a wide range of projects, from administrative support to research and creative initiatives.
Last summer, 274 students were brought on board by 95 departments—and 95% of the hosts said they’d like to do it again.
This year’s dates are June 23 to Aug. 8. The schedule allows students to work five hours a day, Monday to Friday.
