London’s Studio Fix is a pay-as-you-train gym that offers classes including Lagree Megaformer Pilates and a wheelchair-friendly boxing programme. Olivia Palamountain reports

Studio Fix on Kensington High Street is is a pay-as-you-train fitness destination that houses three distinct studios offering six new class concepts.

The gym is among the first in London to feature Lagree Megaformer classes, a celebrity-favoured workout that uses patented exercise machines to deliver high-intensity, full-body conditioning while maintaining low impact on joints.

In a notable collaboration, Studio Fix has partnered with the Paola’s Body Barre, an A-list favourite known for its unique approach to body conditioning. The programme combines dynamic Pilates with yoga and barre techniques, designed to create stronger, more toned physiques.   The venue’s comprehensive offering extends to Yoga, Boxing, HIIT-style Conditioning, and Strength-based Lift classes, catering to varying fitness levels and goals. Classes, ranging from 45 to 60 minutes, are priced from £25 per session.

This idea is that this diverse range eliminates the need for multiple gym memberships, providing a complete wellness experience in a single location.

Behind the venture is founder Najeeb Abunahl, whose personal journey adds a compelling dimension to the studio’s mission.Following a quad biking accident that temporarily confined him to a wheelchair, Abunahl struggled to find gyms offering adaptive training for the general public. Medical professionals advised him to lose weight or risk never recovering.

This experience has shaped Studio Fix’s inclusive approach, with significant investment in wheelchair accessibility throughout the facility. Notably, the boxing programme has been specially designed to accommodate wheelchair users, addressing a gap in London’s fitness market.The studio’s roster of trainers are drawn from London’s top fitness talent, and members can expect premium amenities, including luxury changing facilities stocked with high-end products. A dedicated lounge will serve post-workout refreshments, including protein shakes, smoothies and coffee.
