Stratum Fitness, with the support of MWK Creative Co., hosted Solana Beach’s largest clothing drive to date for Los Angeles fire victims recently, donating nearly two tons of clothes, according to a news release. Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of local residents, the gym was filled to capacity by mid-week and ended up transporting two entire truckloads of clothes to be taken to Los Angeles by the nonprofit World Vision USA.
Stratum owner Joe Scharnweber stated in the news release, “We could not have done this without the support of our members and local community! The response was simply overwhelming, and we are so pleased to hopefully provide some relief to those who have lost their homes and all of their belongings.”
For those still interested in helping out, Stratum is accepting Venmo donations via @stratumfitness.
