Amsterdam, NY — Sticker Mule has unveiled a $100,000 upgrade to Mule Fitness, its gym in Amsterdam, New York.
The facility, originally a vacant grocery store, was transformed into a state-of-the-art gym in 2023.
Anthony Constantino, CEO of Sticker Mule, said the decision to upgrade came after staff suggested replacing some dumbbells. Constantino said,
I always want to create the best possible experience for people. I like making people happy and fitness is one way to increase human happiness.
The upgrade includes the LifeFitness Signature Series MJ8 cross cable machine, along with new dumbbells, benches, and bars. The gym already features unique equipment such as Jacobs Ladder, Technogym Skill Runs, a boxing ring, and wall-to-wall wrestling mats.
To enhance accessibility, Constantino announced a reduced one-year membership for $49, available until the end of January. Existing members can opt for a $99 annual membership by paying for three years upfront.
Constantino emphasized Mule Fitness’s commitment to being the best gym in the area, highlighting its friendly and social environment. He said,
The unique thing about Mule Fitness is that, in addition to being the best local gym, it’s also the most friendly and best social environment which is very important too.
In a gesture of community support, Constantino is donating the replaced equipment to Lexington ARC, a local nonprofit supporting individuals with developmental disabilities. Constantino said,
I’m a big fan of supporting people with disabilities. My friend Ricky Berwick taught me a lot about how important it is for everyone to help and support the disabled community.
Renovations and installations are scheduled for Thursday, January 16, at 1PM, during which Mule Fitness will be closed.
