Steph Curry decided to have a night on Thursday.
The star guard scored 30 points and went an outstanding 8-of-8 on three-point attempts to help lead the Golden State Warriors to a 139-105 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers.
Draymond Green, Andrew Wiggins and Dennis Schroder all contributed 15 points to the winning effort while Jonathan Kuminga had 20 points off of the bench. Still, the star of the day was Curry and his performance was even on a new level for his standards.
His eight consecutive successful three-point attempts was the most in his career, per the TNT broadcast. He was in close proximity to the all-time record of nine consecutive threes, which is held by Jalen Brunson, Ben Gordon and Latrell Spreewell, per Derek Bodner of PHLY Sports.
He left the game early due to the lopsided score but was still able to secure a double-double with 10 assists. He also finished with six rebounds, a steal and was 11-of-15 on overall shooting.

The Warriors improved to 17-16 with the victory while Philadelphia fell to 13-19 with the loss.
While Curry’s numbers have been slightly down this season, he still remains the cornerstone of the franchise and nights like Thursday show just how dynamic he can be.
He will look to build on that performance on Saturday when the Warriors host the Memphis Grizzlies.
