The first quarter is in the books between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens and the Ravens lead 7-0. And while it definitely looked like the Steelers made some changes on offense, execution fell flat and Pittsburgh remains the worst in the NFL this season and one of the worst in NFL history in the playoffs.
Pittsburgh ran only nine plays in the first quarter and finished with 27 net yards. Quarterback Russell Wilson threw for 21 and lost four on a sack on the ugly attempt at a flea flicker.
The run game was no better with 10 rushing yards total between Najee Harris, Jaylen Warren and Wilson. Harris and Warren lead the team with four yards each.
The Steelers finished the quarter with only one first down and the offense spent most of the quarter watching the Ravens as they possessed the football for only 5:13.
