The Pittsburgh Steelers completely rebuilt their quarterback room last season. The hope was Russell Wilson and/or Justin Fields would lead this team to the promised land. Instead, it was just more of the same. The Steelers finished 9-7 and failed once again to win a playoff game. This means it is back to square one at quarterback and there are plenty of names in play.
One of those is Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford. The Rams quarterback is reportedly on the market and as it is with every available player, they might be a player the Steelers need. We are leery of spending draft capital on a 37-year-old quarterback with cap hits of around $50 million in the next two seasons but we suppose anything is possible.
