With Auburn getting ready for its first Southeastern Conference matchup of the season, it released its first official availability report Wednesday evening.
The reports are mandated by the SEC for each team playing in a conference game that week. Teams must list players as either “available,” “probable,” “questionable,” “doubtful,” or “out,” for each game.
Here’s Auburn’s first availability report for Saturday’s game against Arkansas:
The biggest names to watch here are Coleman and Miller, who both missed last week’s game due to injuries. Both players were present during the open portion of Tuesday’s practice, but Coleman was in a non-contact jersey.
Camden Brown started in Coleman’s place against New Mexico and his performance could earn him another start if Coleman is unable to play on Saturday.
Lee and Anthony are both expected to play. Lee missed the New Mexico game due to a calf strain, but Freeze said Monday that the decision to hold him out was more of a precautionary measure. Anthony suffered a similar injury Week 1 but played in both of the following weeks.
McPherson has yet to play for Auburn this season, still recovering from a gastrointestinal illness.
The two rather unexpected additions to the report are Williams and Kite. Freeze has yet to give any details on what is limiting the two players.
Freeze said Monday that Frazier will miss an “extended period of time” due to a broken foot suffered against New Mexico.
