Alabama basketball and Auburn will tip off later than originally scheduled for the 2024-25 regular-season finale.
Set for Neville Arena on Saturday, March 8, the No. 4 Crimson Tide and top-ranked Tigers were due to start play at approximately 1 p.m. CT.
Tip-off time has been moved to 30 minutes later at 1:30 p.m., according to both schools’ athletics websites. Alabama is 22-5, 11-3 SEC, and Auburn is 25-2, 13-1
The game, set to be carried on ESPN, will also be Senior Day for Auburn.
Alabama fell 94-85 in its most recent meeting with the Tigers, with the loss followed by another defeat on the road at Missouri before the Crimson Tide regained its confidence completing the sweep of Kentucky on Saturday.
The last trip to The Plains wasn’t too kind to Alabama, either. Auburn took advantage of a Crimson Tide team terrorized by turnovers to deal UA a 99-81 loss on the road last February.
