Syracuse, N.Y. ― The tip-off of the Syracuse Orange’s men’s basketball game against Youngstown State on Saturday, Nov. 16, has been moved up an hour to 1 p.m.
The decision to change the start time of the SU-Youngstown State basketball gamae was made to avoid a conflict with the Syracuse football team’s game at California. The Orange football team is scheduled to play Cal at 3 p.m. (noon West Coast time).
The SU-Youngstown State basketball game had been scheduled to start at 2 p.m., meaning fans would have been forced to miss a large chunk of the football game if they attended the basketball game.
The Syracuse basketball game will be broadcast on ACC Network Extra. The SU-Cal football game will be televised on The CW.
The Orange basketball team won its season-opener on Monday, holding off Le Moyne for an 86-82 win at the JMA Wireless Dome. Syracuse’s next game is on Tuesday, Nov. 12 against Colgate. The game will be on the ACC Network Extra.
