Iowa women’s basketball (12-7, 2-6 Big Ten) will once again be without the services of their star sophomore forward, Hannah Stuelke, tonight as they visit Alaska Airlines Arena in Seattle, Wash., for a clash vs. Washington (13-6, 4-3 Big Ten).
Stuelke did not travel with the Hawkeyes to Eugene, Ore., for Iowa’s Sunday evening 50-49 loss against Oregon, as the sophomore was placed in the concussion protocol following an injury sustained in their January 16 loss against Nebraska.
While there was some hope that Stuelke would be able to clear the concussion protocol in the three-day break between games, she remains unavailable for the Hawkeyes tonight per Iowa’s availability report.

Stuelke averages 12.9 points per game on 47.8% shooting from the floor and 68.1% from the charity stripe in 18 games. She also averages a team-leading 8.2 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 0.8 steals, and 0.4 blocks per contest.
With the absence of Stuelke, Iowa will need to find scoring, rebounding and production elsewhere.
Iowa’s date at Washington can be seen on Peacock with tipoff set for 8 p.m. CT.
