Sports betting company will create nearly 1,000 new jobs in Colorado

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KJCT) – A company based out of the UK is opening a new headquarters in Colorado.

Denver will house the first United States branch of bet365. The company plans to hire nearly 1,000 employees.

bet365 is a leading global online sports betting company.

The company says they anticipate hiring over 300 employees in the first year. Some of the positions will include

Trading
Software development and technology
Marketing
Legal
Finance
Facilites
Human resources
Recruitment

“We are thrilled to welcome bet365 and nearly 1,000 jobs to Colorado and congratulate them on the grand opening of their new U.S. headquarters here,” Governor Polis said. “bet365 will create nearly 1,000 new good-paying jobs and as many as 300 this year that will help Coloradans earn a good living and support their families. We are confident they will quickly find that our great state is the best place to live, work and do business.”

The company renovated 120,000 square feet of office space in Denver.

There are over 7,000 people that the company employs worldwide. They currently employ around 50 people in the Denver office and have a presence in New Jersey.

Over $14 million was approved by The Colorado Economic Development Commission in a performance-based Job Growth Incentive Tax Credit for the company over an eight-year period.
