BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – The College Station Rotary Club is bringing joy and warmth to local children in need.
Since 1990, nearly 2,300 local children have benefited from the Rotary’s Clothing for Kids event.
The College Station Rotary Club is looking for donors to Sponsor a Kid for $200 to buy essentials like coats and shoes.
Every dollar counts with 100% of proceeds going directly to clothing around 100 children.
The Clothing for Kids shopping event is Saturday, Dec. 7 at 7 a.m. at Target in Bryan.
“Many of these kids have worn hand-me-downs or used clothes, so it’s an opportunity for them to pick things, to fill out a wardrobe and to have a very special Christmas,” College Station Rotary Club Past President Dr. Nancy Dickey said.
