Rocket Can, winless in his last five starts, broke the string Saturday with a victory in the Grade 3 Harlan’s Holiday at Gulfstream and earned the highest Brisnet Speed Rating among last week’s stakes winners.
Trained by Bill Mott and ridden by Junior Alvarado, the 4-year-old Into Mischief colt covered the 1 1/16 miles in 1:45.01 to win by 1 1/4 lengths at odds of 10-1.
He earned a 101 Brisnet rating and a 99 Beyer Speed Figure.
Saudi Crown got a 103 Beyer for his win in the Tenacious at Fair Grounds on Saturday, the highest Beyer of the week among stakes winners. He also earned a 100 Brisnet rating.
