TEMECULA – The 2024 UCS “Live Unified” Golf Tournament, hosted by Special Olympics Southern California (SOSC), is set to bring together golf enthusiasts, celebrities, and community members for a day of sport, camaraderie, and charitable giving. Scheduled for July 19, this highly anticipated event will take place at the prestigious Journey at Pechanga golf course in Temecula, offering participants a unique opportunity to make a significant impact while enjoying a day on the green.
Special Olympics Southern California is calling on golfers of all skill levels to join them for the 2024 Unified Champion Schools Golf Tournament. With a mission to raise funds for local Unified Champion Schools programs, the event promises a blend of competition, fun, and philanthropy. The tournament fees are $300 for individual golfers and $1,200 for a foursome, with all proceeds supporting SOSC’s initiatives.
Participants can look forward to a full day of activities, including: eighteen holes of tournament golf on the award-winning course, practice range access before the tournament, breakfast provided post check-in, tee package for all players, and a post-round banquet meal and awards at Journey’s End.
The format is a four-person scramble, where teams select the best shot from each series of hits and proceed from there. This format ensures a fun and engaging experience for all participants, regardless of skill level.
Adding a touch of star power to the event, world-renowned golfer Snappy Gilmore will join the tournament as a guest star. Famous for his unique one-handed swing, Snappy Gilmore has captivated the golfing world with his charismatic style and impressive skills. Participants will have the chance to meet this golf extraordinaire and witness his phenomenal talent firsthand.

The 62,000-square-foot Journey’s End Clubhouse provides ample space for post-round banquets and awards, making it the perfect setting for this special event.
