Just when we were sure we’d exhausted every Amazon Prime Day deal out there—and, to be clear, we have combed through everything from furniture discounts to Le Creuset bargains—another great sale pops up. This one is unlike anything we’ve seen so far: Southwest Airlines is offering up to 30 percent off base fares to Prime members if you book by midnight PST on July 17.
That’s right. Your Prime membership could get you cheaper airline tickets—and with airfare getting more expensive, that’s no small feat. Here’s how the promo works: Sign in to your Prime account, navigate over to Amazon’s Travel Deals page, and click on the Southwest box. Then, use the promo code “PRIME” to search for valid discounted flights.
There are some exceptions—such as blacked-out travel days and the fact that the promo is restricted to trips within the continental U.S. between August 6 and December 18—but overall, this is one of the coolest sales we’ve seen.
While Southwest Airlines is the first airline to partner with Amazon on a deal like this, the Travel Deals page has a few other travel-related discounts frequent jet-setters may want to check out, too. (For instance, you can save on rental cars and even get up to 40 percent off a cruise.) These deals are only valid through July 17, so be sure to take full advantage if you have a trip coming up.
In the meantime, here are a few last-minute Prime Day sales on best-selling luggage for your upcoming travels:
